Quingfeng Lin has won the gold in the men's 69kg group A weightlifting with a total lift of 344kg.
Lin had the highest snatch lift by a full 5kg with 157 and his 182kg on his first clean and jerk put him at the top and he went into a huge lead with a 187kg lift on attempt two. His 344kg total put him 12 ahead of Romania's Razvan Martin at that stage.
Triyatno Triyatno of Indonesia raised 186 in the clean and jerk, which put him into third with only his comparatively low 145 in the snatch keeping him out of contention for gold. He then just managed 188kg, which elevated him into the silver medal spot.
Martin of Romania, who led until Lin's huge lift, could not improve on his 180kg in the clean and jerk and had to settle for bronze after Triyatno's heroics.
Lin then added 11kg in a world record attempt with his final lift but could not lift it and had to settle for just his gold medal.
Great Britain's Gareth Evans was never in contention, finishing 17th with 288kg overall.
