Jamaica's Marvin Dixon is confident that his country will be competing in the bobsleigh in the Winter Olympics in four years time.
Dixon and teammate Winston Watts finished in 29th place in the two-man event in Sochi, after recording a time of two minutes 55.40 seconds in their three runs, but they failed qualify to have a fourth crack at the course.
He told BBC Sport: "I'm telling you now, we will be at the next Olympics in 2018. I truly believe that."
Russia claimed their fifth gold medal of the Games by winning the two-man event.
