Great Britain bobsleigh pilot Lamin Deen believes that the course in Sochi makes the competition more even.
Deen and his teammate John Baines are in 23rd place after their first two runs of the event, as they posted a combined time of one minute and 55.35 seconds.
The 32-year-old told the Belfast Telegraph: "It's very fast and very technical. If you make a mistake on any bob track, it will bite you, you'll be upside down and you'll crash.
"However, it evens itself out a bit more it being this technical because everyone can and will make mistakes on this track."
Team GB have to finish in the top 20 with their third run later today to have a chance of having a fourth run in the event at the 2014 Winter Olympics.
