Team GB figure skater Stacey Kemp has insisted that she will take the positives out of her performance alongside pairs partner David King.
The duo, who finished 16th four years ago in Vancouver, scored 44.70 in the short program team competition to rank 10th, with Jenna McCorkell and ice dancers Penny Coomes and Nick Buckland due to skate on Saturday.
Despite the disappointing performance, which included a fall, Kemp believes that there are still plus points to take into future individual events.
"I've not missed a throw since I've been here," Kemp told reporters. "It's one of those things with nerves and pressure, it can get to you.
"You don't want to fall ever but our big focus is our individual competition and hopefully we can improve on that. We know what atmosphere we'll face now, so we can still take a positive from this performance."
Only the top five nations will progress to a free skate that will decide the medal winners.
