Great Britain cross-country skier Andrew Musgrave has said that he skied "like a tranquilised badger" following his exit from the quarter-finals of his event in the 2014 Winter Olympics.
The 23-year-old finished last in his quarter-final of the men's sprint, with his time of 3:48.69 seconds being 12 seconds adrift of the qualification pace.
After his exit from the competition, Musgrave tweeted: "Sometimes you ski fast, sometimes you ski like a tranquilised badger."
Musgrave's 29th-place finish was the highest placing of any British cross-country skier at the Olympics.
