Team GB's Paula Walker has said that she was "really happy" with her performance in the women's bobsleigh pair on Tuesday despite finishing 12th with partner Rebekah Wilson.
The duo managed a first run of 58.36 at the Winter Olympics in Sochi before going slightly slower in heat two with a time of 58.40.
Walker told reporters: "I was really happy. It was a hell of a lot better than training. The pressure is pretty much what you put on yourself and Bex and I have proved that we can handle pressure, so just because it's an Olympic Games it doesn't really make it that much different."
The United States currently top the standings with an overall time of 1:54.89.
Heats three and four in the competition will take place on Wednesday.
