Team GB's women have thrashed the United States 12-3 in their second game of the preliminary round to recover from their opening-day defeat to Sweden.
The world champions wrapped up the victory after just six ends when the Americans conceded defeat with four still to play in the match.
The Brits set up their points well having won the hammer but it was in end four, with the score at 2-1 to GB, that Eve Muirhead's side stepped it up. They claimed a huge seven points in the fifth, which was an outright Olympic record for one end.
Three more followed in end six, at which point USA conceded, with Britain's 12 points levelling the Olympic record for the highest overall score.
Team GB take on Canada on Wednesday in their next game.
