Aaron Rodgers has a night to forget as the Green Bay Packers' unbeaten run comes to an end in a 29-10 defeat to Denver Broncos.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers had a night to forget as the Denver Broncos stormed to a 29-10 victory at Lambeau Field on Sunday.

Packers lost their unbeaten title, but the Broncos kept theirs alive as Peyton Manning equalled Brett Favre's NFL record with his 186th regular-season win.

The first quarter contained just one touchdown, which was scored by Denver's Ronnie Hillman in a one-yard run, and in turn put the team on course to go 7-0 for the first time since 1998.

Hillman reached the endzone with a 15-yard run early in the second quarter, while Brandon McManus extended his side's lead to 17 points with a 50-yard field goal.

The Packers got their first points on the board when Eddie Lacy scored a touchdown from a two-yard run, and despite Mason Crosby converting a field goal in the third quarter, a comeback was thwarted by CJ Anderson.

The running back made a 28-yard run to the endzone to give the Broncos a 24-10 lead heading into the fourth quarter on away turf.

McManus scored his second field goal of the evening before the Broncos piled more misery on Rodgers when DeMarcus Ware sacked the Green Bay quarterback, resulting in the ball ending up in Malik Jackson's hands in the endzone for a safety.
