The Green Bay Packers trail the New York Jets 20-16 at half time of their NFL game at Lambeau Field.

The Green Bay Packers head into half time 20-16 down against the New York Jets in their NFL clash at Lambeau Field this evening.

The Jets started the game in perfect fashion as Aaron Rodgers fumbled the ball and Sheldon Richardson was there to gather at Green Bay's 16-yard line. Geno Smith ran the ball in himself for a touchdown from one-yard out to put his side ahead.

New York extended their advantage after a neat bit of trickery down the sideline, as they faked three handoffs before Jeremy Kerley ran 37 yards downfield and found Eric Decker in the endzone for a 29-yard strike down the right side.

The Packers managed to get three points back early in the second quarter when Mason Crosby fired an effort between the posts from 31 yards.

However, Rex Ryan's side came storming back and they extended their lead to 18 points when Chris Ivory ran into the endzone for a four-yard touchdown.

The home side continued to struggle on offense despite Rodgers moving them into the redzone, but they were forced to settle for two field goals from the boot of Crosby.

Rodgers led the Packers back into the red zone inside the two-minute warning before connecting with Randall Cobb for a six-yard touchdown, leaving the hosts just five points down at the break.
