The New York Jets make it three wins on the spin with a comfortable 30-8 victory over the Tennessee Titans at the MetLife Stadium.

The New York Jets have eased to a third consecutive victory courtesy of a 30-8 triumph over the Tennessee Titans at the MetLife Stadium this evening.

The hosts had the match all but sewn up by the halfway stage following a dominant first-half display that saw them score 27 unanswered points, the first of which came on the opening drive when Eric Decker collected Ryan Fitzpatrick's pass for a 16-yard touchdown.

Randy Bullock extended that lead to 10 points with a field goal late in the first quarter having earlier missed a 53-yard effort, and he sent another over in the second after Marcus Mariota had been intercepted by Buster Skrine.

It wasn't just the Titans' offense that was struggling, with the Jets able to add two more simple scores before half time.

The first saw Bilal Powell coast through a number of tackles on his way in for a 16-yard score, while a failure to cover Brandon Marshall later in the quarter resulted in the receiver tiptoeing down the sideline from 69 yards.

It looked as though it would take something out of the ordinary for the Titans to give themselves a lifeline, and that is exactly what they came up with as running back Antonio Andrews took the snap and found quarterback Mariota for a 41-yard score - just the fourth touchdown reception by a QB in the past 15 years.

Mariota was back in his more familiar role to find Dexter McCluster for the two-point conversion, but the response came too late to be the start of an unlikely comeback.

Bullock's third field goal of the match opened up a 22-point lead with less than three minutes remaining, and that proved to be the final score of the game as the Jets improved to 8-5, while the Titans dropped to 3-10.
