Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Napoli

Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Thursday's Europa League quarter-final second leg against Napoli.

Arsenal are on the verge of reaching the semi-finals of the Europa League for the second season running as they hold a 2-0 lead over Napoli ahead of Thursday's second leg.

An early strike from Aaron Ramsey and a Kalidou Koulibaly own goal in last week's match at the Emirates Stadium leaves the Gunners in a strong position ahead of the return match.

The Gunners had chances to kill off the tie in the first leg, though, and their failure to do so means that they still have work to do at Stadio San Paolo.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension news for Unai Emery's side ahead of the encounter with the Italian club.

ARSENAL'S INJURY LIST

Lucas Torreira

Status: Slight doubt
Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: April 18 (vs. Napoli)

Torreira picked up an injury in the first half of Arsenal's win at Watford on Monday and did not emerge for the second half. Emery said after the match that it is only "a small injury" and the midfielder should be fine for Thursday.

Rob Holding

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Holding continues his rehabilitation from a serious knee injury sustained against Manchester United in December, which will rule him out until the 2019-20 campaign.

Hector Bellerin

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Bellerin is also recovering from a long-term knee injury, with the Spaniard having already being ruled out until the next campaign.

Danny Welbeck

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Welbeck has made good progress in his recovery from a broken ankle sustained late last year, but it is still unclear whether the England international will return before the end of the season.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Granit Xhaka and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are all walking a disciplinary tightrope, but Arsenal have no suspensions for Thursday's second leg in Naples.
