Sports Mole previews Wednesday's Champions League Group F clash between Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain at Camp Nou.

Top spot in Group F is on offer on Wednesday evening when Barcelona welcome Paris Saint-Germain to Camp Nou in the Champions League.

Both sides have already comfortably qualified from the section, but PSG are currently top of the group on 13 points, one point ahead of Barca.

As a result, a draw would be enough for PSG to top the section, but Barca must record all three points if they are to top their Champions League group for the eighth successive season.

The reverse match earlier in the season ended in a 3-2 win for PSG, while Barca's only victory in six games against the French side was in the 1996-97 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup final.

The two sides also met in the quarter-finals of the 2012-13 season, when PSG recorded a 1-1 draw at Camp Nou but exited on away goals.

Barca have lost just one of their last 29 home games in the Champions League, winning 22 times in the process, while the Spanish side have won five of their eight home games against French opposition in European competition.

That said, PSG's recent away form in Europe is impressive. Laurent Blanc's side have lost just two of their last 11 European games on the road, winning seven times in the process. They have also won four of their 10 games in Spain.

Both sides will enter the match in strong form, with Barca winning their last seven games in all competitions since losing back-to-back league games towards the start of the season. PSG, meanwhile, have still not lost in any competition this season.

Barcelona will be without the services of Dani Alves and Rafinha, who are both suspended, but the Catalan outfit do not have any fresh injury worries.

Pedro is expected to remain on the bench despite scoring in Barca's 5-1 win over Espanyol on Sunday, leaving Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez in attack.

The visitors, meanwhile, could be without experienced midfielder Thiago Motta, who is struggling with a thigh problem.

Two former Barcelona players should both start, however, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic expected to lead the line and Maxwell due to start at left-back.
