Barcelona will be bidding to make it three straight wins in La Liga when they host Granada on Sunday night.

Since Xavi announced after the 5-3 loss to Villarreal on January 27 that he will be standing down as head coach of the Catalan giants at the end of the 2023-24 campaign, Barcelona have won their two league matches against Osasuna and Alaves.

The reigning champions are currently third in the La Liga table, eight points behind the leaders Real Madrid on the same number of matches (23).

Balde is set for a lengthy period on the sidelines, having had an operation on the hamstring injury that he picked up against Athletic Bilbao in the Copa del Rey.

Roberto recently joined the injury list at Barcelona, with the midfielder expected to be unavailable for another few weeks due to an Achilles problem.


Marc-Andre ter Stegen
