Chelsea team news: Injury, suspension list vs. AC Milan

Sports Mole rounds up Chelsea's injury and suspension news ahead of their Champions League clash with AC Milan.
Sports Mole

Chelsea will be bidding to make it four straight wins in all competitions when they head to AC Milan in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

The Blues recorded a 3-0 victory over Milan in the reverse group match at Stamford Bridge last week before beating Wolverhampton Wanderers by the same scoreline in the league on Saturday.

Chelsea are currently second in Group E, level on points with third-placed Milan and just one behind leaders Red Bull Salzburg in an extremely tight section.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Milan, who will enter the match off the back of a 2-0 victory over Juventus in Serie A.

N'Golo Kante

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: October 11 (vs. Milan)

N'Golo Kante has been absent since suffering a hamstring injury on August 14, and although he has recently been back in training, the Frenchman remains a major doubt for the clash at San Siro.

Wesley Fofana

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Wesley Fofana picked up a knee injury in the clash with Milan last week, which ruled him out of the weekend clash with Wolves, and he is now expected to be out for at least the next four weeks.

CHELSEA'S SUSPENSION LIST

Chelsea have no players suspended for this match.
