Leicester City are interested in signing Chelsea youngster Levi Colwill, according to a report.

The 19-year-old is currently spending the season on loan in the Championship playing for Huddersfield Town, and he has made 20 appearances so far for the Terriers, scoring once.

According to the Mirror, Leicester are planning on making a move for young Chelsea defender Colwill in the summer, with the club having sent scouts to watch him play several times.

The Foxes had attempted to sign him during the January transfer window, but Huddersfield were able to keep hold of him for the remainder of this campaign.

However, Brendan Rodgers is hoping to bring in further defensive options during the summer, with this being the main area of concentration for him ahead of the next season.

Leicester have struggled this season at the back, having conceded 43 goals within their 23 Premier League matches. body check tags ::
