Real Sociedad have been beaten 2-0 by second division side Cordoba in the first leg of their Copa del Rey fourth-round tie at the Nuevo Arcangel.
The hosts took the lead two minutes before the break when Javier Patino netted his third goal of the season.
They then doubled their advantage with 15 minutes left to play thanks to Enzo Renella's strike.
Sociedad have the chance to make amends when they welcome Cordoba to the Estadio Anoeta on November 28.
