Sports Mole previews Saturday's Copa del Rey clash between Huesca and Rayo Vallecano, including predictions, team news and possible lineups.
Sports Mole

Huesca will be back in action on Saturday when they host Rayo Vallecano in the Copa del Rey last 32, with each team aiming to progress to the next stage of the competition.

Both head into the game on the back of a victory in their most recent outing, showcasing no shortage of confidence.

Match preview

Because Huesca currently play in the second division of Spanish football, they have been involved in the Copa del Rey already this season, having progressed through two rounds to earn a place in this match.

They are yet to concede a goal in the competition, which is important in knockout football, and has been a key part of their league campaign as well.

Although they have been defensively strong in all aspects of the season, Huesca are struggling in the league as they find themselves involved in a relegation fight, which is why cup football should be a welcome distraction.

Antonio Hidalgo's men did pick up a 3-0 win in their most recent outing, and the team will no doubt take positives from the fact they had three different goalscorers as well.

The visitors have also been part of the competition from the first round, and just like their opponents, they are yet to concede a single goal either.

Raya Vallecano kick-started their campaign in the competition with an emphatic 6-0 win, which was then followed by a 2-0 win, showcasing their quality as a team.

The blend of attacking and defensive qualities was showcased again in their most recent La Liga outing against Getafe in midweek, a run they will wish to continue.

It proved to be a frantic game due to their opponents having three men sent off, with Sergio Camello then scoring a brace to ensure they took the three points.

With a place in the next round of the competition at stake, the visitors will be aiming to maintain their recent performances.

Team News

Huesca will be expected to feature the same back four this weekend that worked in their most recent outing after keeping a clean sheet.

Meanwhile, from an offensive perspective, Hugo Vallejo will be providing plenty of width, and after scoring a goal in their previous match, he has showcased his eye for goal.

Camello will be expected to retain his place in the starting lineup for the visitors after he managed to score a brace in midweek.

However, Rayo Vallecano are also dealing with some injury problems as Oscar Valentin is dealing with a muscle problem, while Oscar Trejo has a similar issue that is keeping him on the sidelines.

Huesca possible starting lineup:
Fernandez; Blasco, Ameijenda, Pulido, Vilarrasa; Sielva, Munoz, Martinez, Vallejo, Kortajarena; Obeng

Rayo Vallecano possible starting lineup:
Dimitrievski; Ratiu, Mumin, Lejeune, Chavarria; Palazon, U. Lopez, Ciss, Bebe; Camello, De Tomas

We say: Huesca 1-2 Rayo Vallecano

Huesca have showcased quality within the Copa del Rey across the opening two games, and while this will be a much sterner test it is something they will no doubt be set to make the game difficult for the visitors.

However, Rayo Vallecano will be considered the favourites for this match, and they should have enough quality to edge it.
