Aberdeen have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Hull City winger Shaun Maloney this summer.
The 34-year-old made just 14 appearances for the Tigers last season as they suffered relegation from the Premier League, but was offered a new deal at the club ahead of their Championship campaign.
However, BBC Sport claims that he has instead opted to join his hometown club Aberdeen on a one-year contract, subject to completing his medical.
The deal is expected to be completed in time for the Scotland international to feature in Aberdeen's Europa League second round qualifier on July 13.
Maloney will return to the Scottish top flight after a six-year absence, during which time he has played for Wigan Athletic, Chicago Fire and Hull City.
