Liverpool team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Inter Milan

Sports Mole rounds up all of Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Champions League tie with Inter Milan.
Sports Mole

Liverpool's relentless schedule continues on Wednesday evening as they square off against Inter Milan in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.

Although the Merseyside giants recorded a 1-0 win at Burnley on Sunday, Manchester City's Premier League form means that their best chance of silverware lies in other competitions.

An EFL Cup final date with Chelsea is coming up at the end of the month, but Jurgen Klopp's first priority will be on earning a positive result from their meeting with the Serie A champions.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their second visit to San Siro this season.

Divock Origi

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: February 16 (vs. Inter)

While Divock Origi is back in training after a knee issue, he is yet to return to the first-team squad. An appearance on the substitutes' bench on Wednesday night is possible, but the Belgian has other players ahead of him in the pecking order.

LIVERPOOL'S SUSPENSION LIST

As well as Luis Diaz being eligible to feature in this competition despite having previously represented Porto, Liverpool have no players suspended for this game.
