Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League clash with Bournemouth.

Liverpool will aim to make it five victories in a row in all competitions when they resume their Premier League campaign away to Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.

Jurgen Klopp's side have triumphed in the FA Cup and EFL Cup in their last two matches, but this will represent their first league encounter since a 4-2 success over Newcastle United on New Year's Day.

The Reds are currently top of the Premier League table, two points ahead of second-placed Manchester City, with both teams having 18 league games left to play.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with Bournemouth, who currently sit in 12th position in the division.

Trent Alexander-Arnold

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Alexander-Arnold suffered a knee injury during the FA Cup contest with Arsenal, and the England international will be on the sidelines until at least next month recovering from the problem.

Mohamed Salah

Status: Out
Type of injury: International
Possible return date: Unknown

Salah is currently away with the Egypt squad at the Africa Cup of Nations, and when he returns to action for Liverpool will depend on how his team get on in the competition.

Wataru Endo

Status: Out
Type of injury: International
Possible return date: Unknown

Endo received a call-up to Japan's Asian Cup squad, and the summer arrival is therefore currently also unavailable for selection.

Dominik Szoboszlai

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: January 21 (vs. Bournemouth)

Szoboszlai suffered a hamstring injury during Liverpool's 4-2 win over Newcastle in the league earlier this month, which saw him miss out against Arsenal and Fulham, but the midfielder could be back for this game.

Kostas Tsimikas

Status: Out
Type of injury: Collarbone
Possible return date: Unknown

Tsimikas suffered a broken collarbone during the league game with Arsenal last month, but he is due to return to training at the end of the month and should therefore be back in February.

Joel Matip

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Matip will not play again this season due to the ACL rupture he suffered against Fulham in December, and the defender is also out of contract this summer, so he could have turned out for Liverpool for the final time.

Andrew Robertson

Status: Out
Type of injury: Shoulder
Possible return date: Unknown

Robertson is making progress in his recovery from a shoulder operation, and the Scotland international is expected to return to first-team training at the end of this month.

Thiago Alcantara

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hip
Possible return date: Unknown

Thiago has been out for the last nine months due to a serious hip injury, but the experienced midfielder is expected to resume training in February, so he may be available in the next four or five weeks.

Stefan Bajcetic

Status: Out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: Unknown

Bajcetic is currently unavailable for selection due to a calf problem, and the youngster is also not expected to be back on the training field with Liverpool until February.

LIVERPOOL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Liverpool have no players suspended for this contest.
