Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew believes that his side are capable of beating Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League this weekend.
The Magpies travel to Merseyside in the hope of preventing the Reds from securing a consistent home run after claiming their first league victory on home turf against Reading a fortnight ago.
"We all know it is a very tough place to go," the Chronicle quotes Pardew as saying.
"But there is no reason why we can't win. We're looking forward to it and I'm sure we can give a good account of ourselves."
The North East side could be without Demba Ba for the contest, while the Reds remain concerned over goalkeeper Pepe Reina and defender Glen Johnson.
