Team News: Yaya Toure returns to Man City lineup, Arjen Robben not involved for Bayern

Yaya Toure returns to Manchester City's starting lineup for tonight's clash against Bayern Munich, while Arjen Robben is missing for the hosts.

Manchester City star Yaya Toure has returned to the midfield for tonight's Champions League group clash against Bayern Munich, while Sergio Aguero has been placed on the bench.

The Ivorian was rested for City's 2-2 draw with Arsenal last Saturday, but has been given a place in the starting lineup at the Allianz Arena.

Edin Dzeko will lead the line for Manuel Pellegrini, while Fernandinho will anchor the midfield and summer arrival Bacary Sagna has been given a starting spot in the full-back position.

For Bayern, manager Pep Guardiola has been ravaged by injuries, which means that there is no place for Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben, who has to settle for a place on the bench. Bastian Schweinsteiger has also been left out.

Robert Lewandowski will provide the goal threat for the home side this evening, while Mehdi Benatia and Xabi Alonso have also been given starting spots.

Bayern Munich: Neuer; Rafinha, Benatia, Boateng, Bernat; Lahm, Alonso, Alaba; Gotze, Muller, Lewandowski

Manchester City: Hart; Sagna, Demichelis, Kompany, Clichy; Fernandinho, Yaya Toure; Navas, Silva, Nasri; Dzeko
