Marcus Rashford will be hopeful of being brought back into the starting side for Manchester United's Premier League clash with Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
The England international dropped down to the bench for Thursday's league contest with Chelsea and proved to be a second-half substitute in his team's 4-3 defeat in London.
Red Devils head coach Erik ten Hag must now decide whether to introduce the 26-year-old back into the first XI for Sunday's clash with title-challenging Liverpool.

Rashford has tackled Liverpool on 17 occasions during his professional career, boasting a record of four wins, seven draws and six defeats, scoring seven goals and registering one assist in the process.
As expected, the bulk of his outings against the Reds have come in the Premier League, with his record standing at two wins, six draws and five defeats from 13 matches, scoring five times.
Rashford's first two appearances against Liverpool were actually in the Europa League back in 2016, but he could not prevent the Red Devils from suffering a 3-1 defeat on aggregate in the last-16 contest.
The Englishman has also taken on the Merseyside outfit twice in the FA Cup, scoring in both matches, including the 4-3 success at Old Trafford for Man United last month.
Rashford's first league appearance against Liverpool was at Anfield in the first half of the 2016-17 campaign, with the two teams playing out a goalless draw.
The forward netted twice against the Reds at Old Trafford during the 2017-18 Premier League season, as Man United recorded a 2-1 victory.
All five of his league goals against Liverpool have come at Old Trafford, including one in a 2-1 victory for Ten Hag's side in the corresponding match during the 2022-23 campaign.
Rashford was part of the Red Devils side that famously lost 7-0 to Liverpool at Anfield last season, but he helped his team claim a point in a goalless draw at the home of Liverpool earlier this term.
The attacker has seven goals against Liverpool at Old Trafford during his professional career, and he could have a big role to play on Sunday, even if it means coming off the bench.
