Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has warned his players not to get caught up in the atmosphere of Anfield ahead of Sunday's encounter against Liverpool.
The Magpies travel to Merseyside this weekend without a win on the Reds' home turf in 19 years.
However, Pardew is hoping that his players have enough composure this time around to earn a positive result.
"It's a fixture that you can get wrapped up in a little bit," he said.
"It's such an emotional start, the way they build that game up, and you can get lost in that period.
"Sometimes teams are beat before they get there so hopefully we will get over that this time."
Newcastle are currently in 10th place in the Premier League table, while Liverpool sit three points behind in 12th.
