Sports Mole rounds up all of Real Madrid's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their La Liga clash with Real Betis.
Sports Mole

Real Madrid will be looking to make it back-to-back wins in La Liga when they continue their domestic campaign at home to Real Betis on Saturday night.

Los Blancos beat Cadiz 3-0 on Wednesday to rise to the top of the table, and there is currently a four-way race for the title in Spain's top flight, with Atletico Madrid, Sevilla and Barcelona also involved.

Zinedine Zidane's side are now unbeaten in the league since the end of January and will be determined to put another three points on the board this weekend.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Madrid's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Betis, who currently occupy fifth spot in the table.

Sergio Ramos

Status: Out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: Unknown

Sergio Ramos is still on the sidelines recovering from a calf problem, while he has also recently tested positive for coronavirus, and it is unclear when the club captain will be available for selection once again.

Eden Hazard

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: April 24 (vs. Real Betis)

Eden Hazard continues to make strong progress in his recovery from a muscular problem, but the Belgium international was again left out against Cadiz and therefore remains a doubt for this contest.

Lucas Vazquez

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Lucas Vazquez, who is out of contract this summer, will not play again this season due to the serious knee injury that he suffered against Barca earlier this month.

Federico Valverde

Status: Out
Type of injury: Coronavirus
Possible return date: Unknown

Uruguay international Federico Valverde recently tested positive for coronavirus, and he is expected to be absent for at least Madrid's next two matches.

Ferland Mendy

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: Unknown

Ferland Mendy recently picked up a muscular problem, and the indications are that the Frenchman could be on the sidelines until the start of May, although a timeframe has not yet been set by the Spanish champions.

Toni Kroos

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: April 24 (vs. Real Betis)

Toni Kroos has not featured in either of Madrid's last two league matches due to a slight muscular problem, but the Germany international is expected to be available for the clash with Betis if required.

Luka Modric

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Back
Possible return date: April 24 (vs. Real Betis)

Luka Modric was not involved in Wednesday's three-goal victory over Cadiz after picking up a back problem during Tuesday's training session. As a result, the Croatia international remains a doubt for this contest.

REAL MADRID'S SUSPENSION LIST

Madrid have no players suspended for this weekend's match.
