Sports Mole looks at how Real Madrid could line up in Tuesday's La Liga clash with Athletic Bilbao.

Real Madrid will be looking to continue their recent impressive run of form when they welcome Athletic Bilbao to the Spanish capital on Tuesday night.

Zinedine Zidane's side have won their last three matches in all competitions, including a 2-0 home victory over Atletico Madrid on Saturday, which saw them move into third position in La Liga.

Los Blancos will be eyeing a fourth straight success on Tuesday night as they attempt to hunt down Real Sociedad and Atletico at the top of the table.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Madrid could line up against Athletic.

Out: Casemiro (suspended), Eden Hazard (muscle), Luka Jovic (adductor)
Doubtful: Martin Odegaard (muscle), Mariano Diaz (unspecified)

Zidane will still be unable to call upon either Eden Hazard or Luka Jovic on Tuesday through injury, while Martin Odegaard and Mariano Diaz remain doubts for the Spanish champions.

Madrid will also be without Casemiro against the Basque club, with the Brazil international picking up his fifth yellow card of the season in the Madrid derby on Saturday.

Fit-again Federico Valverde, who was a late substitute against Diego Simeone's side, could therefore earn a start alongside Luka Modric and Toni Kroos in the middle of the park.

Zidane is expected to resist the temptation to make alterations further forward, though, with Vinicius Junior and Lucas Vazquez set to continue alongside Karim Benzema.

Rodrygo Goes and Marco Asensio both featured in the latter stages of the clash with Atletico and are options for change, but Vazquez has performed impressively during Madrid's recent winning run.

Ferland Mendy, meanwhile, should again keep out Marcelo at left-back.
