Real Madrid's Gareth Bale has revealed that he would be open to a move to the MLS in the near future.
The Welshman has been the subject of persistent speculation regarding his future at the Bernabeu, although the La Liga giants are reportedly ready to keep hold of Bale amid coronavirus pandemic.
However, the former Tottenham Hotspur man has only managed 14 appearances in Spain's top flight this season, and has confirmed his interest in joining an MLS side.
Speaking on The Hat-Trick Podcast, Bale said: "I really like the league, it's grown so much over the years.
"When we come over and play in pre-season the games are difficult, it's a league that's on the up and still rising.
"A lot more players want to come to America now. I would definitely be interested in it."
Bale has chalked up 105 goals in 249 appearances for Los Blancos since arriving from Spurs, and the 30-year-old will see his current deal at the Bernabeu expire in 2022.
