Brazil boss Tite has named an attacking starting lineup for their opening World Cup 2022 Group G fixture against Serbia, which includes Neymar, Vinicius Junior, Raphinha and Richarlison.

Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar, who is just two goals behind Pele's all-time record (77) for the Selecao, is set to operate in the number 10 role in behind Richarlison up front, with Raphinha and Vinicius Junior playing down the flanks.

Liverpool's Alisson Becker remains Tite's first-choice goalkeeper for the five-time world champions, and he will be protected by a back four of Danilo, Thiago Silva, Marquinhos and Alex Sandro.

Casemiro and Lucas Paqueta will both occupy central midfield roles, with fellow Premier League stars Fred, Fabinho and Bruno Guimaraes providing cover on the substitutes' bench.

As for Serbia, Aleksandar Mitrovic has been named in Dragan Stojkovic's starting lineup after recovering from an ankle injury.

The 28-year-old was an injury doubt heading into this evening's contest having missed the last three games across all competitions for club and country, but the Fulham marksman will lead the line, with Dusan Vlahovic and Luka Jovic beginning on the bench.

Mitrovic will be supported in attack by captain Dusan Tadic, while the likes of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Nemanja Gudelj and Nikola Milenkovic also feature in their first XI.

Brazil starting lineup: Alisson; Danilo, Thiago Silva, Marquinhos, Sandro; Casemiro, Paqueta; Raphinha, Neymar, Vinicius Jr; Richarlison

Subs: Weverton, Ederson, Dani Alves, Militao, Fabinho, Fred, Telles, Guimaraes, Jesus, Antony, Rodrygo, Ribeiro, Bremer Pedro, Martinelli

Serbia starting lineup: V. Milinkovic-Savic; Veljkovic, Milenkovic, Pavlovic; Zivkovic, Gudelj, S. Milinkovic-Savic, Lukic, Mladenovic; Tadic; A. Mitrovic
