How Tottenham Hotspur could line up against Manchester City

Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Tottenham Hotspur could line up for Friday's FA Cup fourth-round clash with Manchester City.

Tottenham Hotspur have received a triple injury boost ahead of Friday's FA Cup fourth-round tie with Manchester City in North London.

The Lilywhites will definitely be without international trio Pape Sarr, Yves Bissouma and Son Heung-min, while Manor Solomon (knee), Alejo Veliz (knee), Giovani Lo Celso (thigh) and Ryan Sessegnon (thigh) have no chance of returning either.

However, James Maddison is back in full training and available to start, according to Postecoglou, while Dane Scarlett (unspecified), Ben Davies (thigh) and Dejan Kulusevski (illness) are all on track to feature too.

With Micky van de Ven raring to go after a bout of cramp against Manchester Uniyed, Radu Dragusin will likely be kept waiting for his full Spurs debut, as the Dutchman links arms with regular partner Cristian Romero as Guglielmo Vicario's central barrier.

Pedro Porro's wonder goal got the job done against Burnley in the third round, and the former City youngster should bomb down the right against his old team while Destiny Udogie occupies his familiar left-back role.

Oliver Skipp may be the unlucky man sacrificed for the returning Kulusevski after the Swede's virus, as Rodrigo Bentancur and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg partner up in the middle again.

A second successive start should come the way of RB Leipzig loanee Timo Werner, though, while Richarlison and Brennan Johnson are sure to retain their places in attack, as Postecoglou may play it safe with Maddison and start the Englishman on the bench.

Tottenham Hotspur possible starting lineup:
Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Hojbjerg, Bentancur; Johnson, Kulusevski, Werner; Richarlison
