Tottenham Hotspur came from two goals behind to record a 3-2 win over Bournemouth in Saturday afternoon's Premier League contest at the Vitality Stadium.

A double from Kieffer Moore had seen the Cherries lead 2-0 early in the second period, but Ryan Sessegnon halved the deficit in the 57th minute before Ben Davies levelled the scores 17 minutes from time.

Rodrigo Bentancur then won it for Antonio Conte's side in stoppage time, with the midfielder firing home after Bournemouth had failed to deal with a corner.

The result has kept Spurs in third spot in the Premier League table, while Bournemouth remain 14th, with Gary O'Neil's side on 13 points from their opening 13 matches of the season.

Bournemouth made the breakthrough in the 22nd minute of the contest when Marcus Tavernier raced down the right before delivering a low cross into Moore, who expertly picked out the bottom corner.

Dominic Solanke almost had the chance to double the home side's advantage 10 minutes before the end of the first period, but Hugo Lloris was just out of his goal in time to clear ahead of the striker.

Tottenham's best chance of a disappointing first half came in the 45th minute when Son Heung-min worked space in a forward area before attempting to pick out the bottom corner, but Mark Travers was across to make a smart save, with the home side leading at the interval.

Bournemouth doubled their lead in the 50th minute of the contest, with Moore heading an excellent Adam Smith cross into the back of the net after beating both Davinson Sanchez and Emerson Royal to the ball.

Tottenham had one back in the 57th minute, with Sessegnon breaking onto a through pass from Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg before managing to pick out the bottom corner of the net.

Spurs then levelled the scores in the 73d minute when Davies headed home from a corner after Bournemouth goalkeeper Travers had come and got nowhere near the ball.

Tottenham were knocking on the door in terms of a third goal, and Travers had to make a brilliant save to keep out a strike from Son in the 77th minute, with the home side coming under increasing pressure.

Conte's team finally turned the game around in the second minute of added time at the end of the 90 when Bentancur fired home from inside the box to complete a brilliant comeback for the North London club.
