Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly in talks with Tottenham Hotspur over the possibility of signing Croatian defender Vedran Corluka.

The 25-year-old has struggled to make an impact for Harry Redknapp's side this season due to the emergence of Kyle Walker.

German club Leverkusen have contacted Spurs and are now hoping to seal the move before Tuesday's transfer deadline, according to Sky Sports News.

Corluka looks to be intent on leaving White Hart Lane as he attempts to cement his place in Croatia's Euro 2012 squad.
