West Bromwich Albion have reportedly entered talks with Kean Bryan after the defender's departure from Sheffield United over the summer.

The Baggies are said to be in the market for a new centre-back after Dara O'Shea was recently ruled out with an injury while playing for Republic of Ireland.

Following their relegation from the Premier League last season, the Midlands outfit have won four of their opening five Championship games, one of which came against Bryan's former side Sheffield United.

According to Football Insider, Valerien Ismael is planning to make a move for the 24-year-old this week, after he left Bramall Lane in the summer.

Amid widespread injury issues at Sheffield United last season, Bryan made 13 Premier League appearances for the Blades as they fell to relegation and was reportedly unable to agree a new contract as his previous deal came to an end in the summer.
