Two tries each from Ben Currie and Ryan Atkins guide Warrington Wolves to a 26-18 victory over Catalans Dragons in their Super League encounter.

A strong second-half display from the Warrington Wolves guided them to a 26-18 win over Catalans Dragons in their Super League match.

The visitors were the first team on the scoreboard as they put the pressure on the Wolves' tryline in the opening minutes and Tony Gigot managed to find space to touch down for the try.

Warrington hit back when Ben Currie raided through a gap in the Dragons' defence and ran all the way to the line to register the try, while Gareth O'Brien added the extras.

The Wolves took the lead before the break as the home side displayed excellent work with their hands down the right to spread the ball across the field to allow Ryan Atkins to move in for the try.

In the second half, Dragons got back into the match as Eloi Pelissier collected the ball from two metres out and powered through two tackles to bring his side level.

Catalans took the lead minutes later when Elliott Whitehead managed to break through two tackles before speeding to the line to touch down, while Scott Dureau nestled his kick between the posts for the extras.

Warrington tied the score with a slick attacking move as the ball exchanged hands several times with quick offloads before Atkins found a gap to touch down.

The home side were in the ascendency and displayed their attacking prowess as they worked the ball to Chris Hill down the flank and he just had the pace to find the try-line.

The Wolves sealed their win in the 68th minute when Currie notched his second try of the match after he collected a pass from Stefan Ratchford.
