French side Clermont Auvergne ran in eight tries to complete a comfortable 54-3 victory over Aironi in the Heineken Cup this evening.
Each of their tries were scored by different players, with Lee Byrne, Gerhard Vosloo, Brock James, Julien Bonnaire, Julien Bardy, Jean-Marcellin Buttin, Wesley Fofana and Julien Malzieu all touching down for the Vulcans.
Seven of those efforts were converted by a combination of Morgan Parra and James.
The Italians claimed their only score of the match in the 15th minute when fly-half Luciano Orquera converted a penalty.
With this victory, Clermont now top Pool 4.
