Bernard Tomic has come from behind to defeat Sergiy Stakhovsky in the semi-finals of the Sydney International.
Stakhovsky took the opening set on a tie-break, but Tomic fought back to record a 6-7 7-5 6-3 triumph.
The duo both broke serve once during a tight 12 games, before the Ukrainian seized the initiative in the tie-break.
Neither player created a break point during the opening 10 games of the second, before Tomic struck to take the match into a decider.
The home favourite remained in the ascendancy, and after breaking his opponent for a 4-3 lead, he struck again to move through to a showdown with Juan Martin del Potro.
