Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians has revealed that quarterback Drew Stanton has a good chance of playing for his side in the playoffs.
Stanton sustained a knee injury in their win over the St Louis Rams two weeks ago, and as a result missed their defeat to the Seattle Seahawks as Ryan Lindley assumed starting duty.
However, Lindley struggled massively against the reigning Super Bowl champions, leading to calls for Stanton to return for the post-season, which Arians has revealed has an "85%" chance of occurring.
"He's going to practise some this week, and we'll see how he goes," Arians told SiriusXM NFL Radio. "Do not plan on playing him this week unless it was absolutely necessary."
Logan Thomas will start at quarterback for the Cardinals in their final game against the San Francisco 49ers.
