Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has named his starting XI for Thursday's Europa League contest with Bodo/Glimt at Old Trafford, and there is a notable start for Tyrell Malacia.

The Netherlands international has not played for the Red Devils since May 2023 due to a serious knee injury which required two separate operations, but he is in the XI for the European clash in Manchester.

It is a first start in 550 days for Malacia, while there is also a spot in the XI for Mason Mount, with the attacker returning to fitness after a muscular issue; Lisandro Martinez is also back, with the centre-back recovering from the back injury which kept him out against Ipswich Town in Amorim's first game at the helm.

Antony is another notable starter, with the Brazilian featuring down the right, while Manuel Ugarte and Rasmus Hojlund also come into the side, with six changes being made from the clash with Ipswich.

Luke Shaw and Kobbie Mainoo are both on the bench, and the latter will be hoping to make his first appearance for the 20-time English champions since the start of October.

As for Bodo/Glimt, Patrick Berg features in midfield, with the 27-year-old enjoying an excellent campaign, scoring 12 times in all competitions, while there is also a spot for Jens Petter Hauge, with the forward coming up with eight goals this term.

The visitors are set to operate in a 4-3-3 formation, while it will again be a 3-4-3 for the Red Devils.

Manchester United: Onana; Mazraoui, De Ligt, Martinez; Antony, Ugarte, Mount, Malacia; Fernandes, Hojlund, Garnacho
Subs: Bayindir, Heaton, Dalot, Shaw, Casemiro, Eriksen, Mainoo, Amad, Rashford, Zirkzee

Bodo/Glimt: Haikin; Wembangomo, Gundersen, Bjortuft, Bjorkan; Evjen, Berg, Brunstad Fet; Zinckernagel, Helmersen, Hauge
Subs: Faye Lund, Nielsen, Auklend, Hogh, Espejord, Saltnes, Moe, Sjovold, Maatta, Sorli, Sorensen, Mikkelsen
