Arizona Cardinals coach Bruce Arians has admitted that he does not know whether running back Andre Ellington will be fit to start for his team against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
Ellington suffered a 'severe hip pointer' during the Cards' loss to the Atlanta Falcons last weekend, leaving during the first quarter and sitting out for the remainder of the game.
The 25-year-old is a big part of the team's offense - particularly in the absence of quarterback Carson Palmer - with 660 yards on 201 carries through 12 games so far.
Arians told Sirius XM radio: "Andre probably won't practice this week. We hope he'll be able to go against the Chiefs but this one is likely to a game-day decision."
Should Ellington miss out, backup trio Marion Grice, Stepfan Taylor and Michael Bush will likely split carries.
