The Arizona Cardinals have strengthened their pass-rush ahead of the 2014 season by claiming linebacker Thomas Keiser off the waiver wire.
The 25-year-old was released on Saturday by the San Diego Chargers as part of their roster cutdown after an inconsistent off-season for the club.
Keiser could now face his old side in the NFL season opener when the Cardinals take on the Chargers next week.
The linebacker recorded 21 tackles, 4.5 sacks and one interception for the Chargers in the 2013 season.
