Former New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie signs a one-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals.

The Arizona Cardinals have confirmed the signing of former New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie, with the player agreeing terms on a one-year deal.

Cromartie said earlier in the month that he could not rule out a return to his old side, but has now opted to move to Arizona to start a new chapter in his career.

The player was the 19th pick by San Diego Chargers in the 2006 Draft, with his new club confirming that the signing allows Jerraud Powers to move inside next to Tyrann Mathieu.

Cromartie arrived at the Jets in 2010 and spent four seasons there before his latest move.
