Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer has praised his side's resilience and fighting spirit after they ground out a 17-10 victory over the Seattle Seahawks last night.
Palmer overcame four interceptions to throw the match-winning touchdown pass with just over two minutes remaining, ending Seattle's 14-match unbeaten streak at home in the process.
The 33-year-old admitted that it wasn't the best match to watch but hailed his side's belief until the very end as they kept themselves in the playoff hunt with the victory.
"An ugly win is a win regardless of how it comes out. There was a handful of times where the ball really bounced their way today and we were resilient, kept fighting, kept believing and came out and got a win," Palmer told The AP.
The Cardinals are now tied with San Francisco on 10 wins apiece in the NFC West, although the 49ers have a game in hand against the Atlanta Falcons tonight.
