Former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner believes that All-Pro wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald will return to his best form this season.
The 30-year-old posted his lowest tally of touchdowns in his nine-year career in the NFL last season, as the Cardinals struggled throughout their 2012 campaign.
However, new head coach Bruce Arians traded for veteran quarterback Carson Palmer and Warner is adamant that the former Cincinnati Bengals man will fire with Fitzgerald.
"I expect Larry to be back to form of a couple of years ago," Warner told Arizona Sports 620's Burns and Gambo. "I think Carson will make him better.
"I think what Coach Arians and what they are going to do with him is going to give him more opportunities to get back to that level and have impact."
Arizona face the St Louis Rams in their season opener this Sunday.
