The Arizona Cardinals have secured an overtime victory against the Tennessee Titans in the NFL.
Arizona showed up with an 8-5 overall but Rob Bironas put the Titans ahead early in the first quarter when he converted a 45-yard field goal, before Rashard Mendenhall completed a one-yard run to put the Cardinals 7-3 in front.
However, the Titans hit back through Chris Johnson, who collected a 25-yard pass from Ryan Fitzpatrick to take their score to 10 for the half.
It looked as though the Titans were going to take a lead into the break, but Jay Feely stepped forward to notch a 25-yard field goal to level the score at 10-10 at half time.
Feely kicked another three at the start of the third quarter, but the Titans regained the lead when Delanie Walker got a one-yard pass from Fitzpatrick to move his team to 17 points.
The Cardinals went ahead again, though, as Jake Ballard picked up a six-yard pass from Carson Palmer to give his team the lead at the end of the third quarter.
The high scoring second half continued in the fourth as Arizona began to pull away. Mendenhall got his second touchdown and then Antoine Cason picked up a 20-yard interception return.
Nevertheless, the Titans showed their resilience with Michael Preston being found by Fitzpatrick's 10-yard pass for the touchdown.
Their comeback was complete with another Bironas field goal and Preston's successful gather of a Fitzpatrick pass. However, Feely won it in overtime with a field goal.
