The Atlanta Falcons have announced the release of guard Garrett Reynolds, despite the player starting 10 times for the club in the 2013 season.
Reynolds's release coincides with the signing of Gabe Carimi, who plays in the same position, with the former entering the free agency to find a new team.
The Falcons drafted Reynolds in 2009 as a fifth-round pick and he played 42 times overall across his five season at the franchise.
Reynolds played all 16 regular season games in 2011, which was his most prolific as a Falcons player.
