The Denver Broncos have headed into half time 9-3 ahead in a closely-contested game with the Baltimore Ravens, with all the points coming from field goals at the Mile High Stadium.
Emmanuel Sanders made three receptions as the Broncos tried to get an early score on the board, but Peyton Manning's first drive stalled, forcing the home side to send on the field goal unit, and Brandon McManus split the uprights with a 57-yard kick.
Joe Flacco and the Ravens offense failed to score on their opening drive, but the Broncos came up short on their second possession, resulting in another long field goal from McManus.
Flacco continued to come under pressure as he tried to get the visiting side off the mark, being sacked for a second time by DeMarcus Ware, eventually resulting in Justin Tucker coming on for a long field goal attempt of his own, kicking the ball through from 52 yards.
Manning was also restricted by the opposition defense, taking a couple of sacks before missing a deep throw to Sanders shortly before half time, forcing the team to rely on McManus for another three points.
