The Miami Dolphins scored two touchdowns in the final two minutes of the second quarter to head in half time leading 15-3 at home against the Baltimore Ravens.
In the first quarter, there was a moment of controversy after a Ravens touchdown was ruled out for pass interference on Daniel Brown, who did not touch the defensive back who fell to the floor.
Baltimore looked likely to start off the scoring midway through the second quarter but Matt Schaub could not make a yard out fourth down, and the Miami defence denied them just five yards out of their endzone.
Schaub was picked off on their next possession by Reshad Jones, and Ryan Tannehill made them play as he found DeVante Parker for a 38-yard touchdown.
The Ravens quarterback was intercepted again after Derrick Shelby tipped the pass, caught the ball and ran it home before a Ravens penalty made the Dolphins attempt a two-point conversion at Jay Ajayi crossed the plain to make it 15-0.
However, Baltimore were not to be shut out in the first half after they made a quick drive within the two-minute warning and Justin Tucker hit his 38-yard field goal attempt just before the break.
