A half of field goals only has seen the Baltimore Ravens go in at the break six points ahead of the New York Jets.
Both sides were struggling early on to get distance with their drives and indeed it was the third possession of the game that Nick Folk kicked a field goal for the first points.
The Ravens responded quickly, however, and although they were unable to get a touchdown with their next drive, Justin Tucker made no mistake with his 30-yard kick.
In a tight game the second quarter was crucial and although Joe Flacco did his best to throw it away, the Ravens got themselves on top.
Tucker put a 26-yard and a 33-yard goal between the posts as the Ravens were ahead courtesy mainly of a tight defense against the Jets' drives.
