Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Breshad Perriman has been ruled out of his side's 2015 season opener against the Denver Broncos.
The Ravens selected the 21-year-old in the first round of the 2015 Draft, but the wideout sustained a knee injury in the first practice session of training camp.
Perriman has struggled to regain his fitness and head coach John Harbaugh admitted that he was unsure whether he would be fit to play against the Broncos.
The AFC North side have now confirmed that they will be without Perriman for the match, leaving them short on depth at the receiver position.
The Ravens face the Broncos at Sports Authority Field on Sunday.
