Baltimore Ravens linebacker CJ Mosley has insisted that his side have to finish on the field to end their losing start to the season.
The Ravens slipped to their third defeat on the spin in their 28-24 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, despite rallying from a 14-point deficit to lead twice in the fourth quarter.
However, two late scores from AJ Green guided the Bengals to the victory to leave the Ravens' hopes of reaching the playoffs in jeopardy after just three weeks of the season.
Mosley told reporters: "We can talk about working harder, practicing harder, but at the end of the day, the defense has to finish.
"We didn't waste all that time in training camp - blood, sweat, and tears - to have cracks in our foundation."
The Ravens are next in action against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday.
