Charles Johnson sustained a groin injury during the Carolina Panthers' 31-13 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last night.
The defensive end, who is the team's highest-paid player, was carted off the field late on in the clash.
After the game, head coach Ron Rivera admitted that the injury was a concern for the NFC South side.
Johnson has 16 tackles, six sacks and a forced fumble so far this season.
